There is a person who makes a simulation which is about an "automated platformer game" which first starts out as 2D. The character of the platformer is the specimen (Which is represented by an orange square.) its entire existence is about completing the levels. But there is an unknown entity (basically the player) which without a simulation, lives in a void. Bored, it uses its ability to possess the specimen and hide inside it. In the prequel (Endless Progress REAL), this makes three potential outcomes. 1. hiding and doing parkour as intended. 2. Finding a scrapped version of the specimen and causing a crash in the simulation. 3. Refusing to parkour by making the creator afraid and he shuts it down. The first game is not perfect. But when making the second one, I was more experienced. So, here's the sequel's lore: "The creator of the simulation makes an interview (his simulation was viral). He states that he was afraid when the specimen did not obey. After 6 years, out of curiosity, he makes a second simulation. This time, the simulation is 3D. Even in this case, the creature still adapts to the environment. This time, making 10 endings accessible (I don't want to tell them). So the unknown creature messes with the simulation once again, making the creator even more frustrated.
